শিখধর্ম বিশ্বের পঞ্চম বৃহত্তম ধর্ম, যাদের মোট সদস্য সংখ্যা ২৫-৩০ মিলিয়ন, কিন্তু বিশ্বের একমাত্র শিখ-প্রধান প্রশাসনিক বিভাগ হলো উত্তর ভারতের পাঞ্জাব প্রদেশ,[১][২][৩][৪][৫][৬] যদিও পৃথিবীর সকল জনবসতিময় মহাদেশেই শিখ সম্প্রদায়ের বসবাস রয়েছে।
