ভারতের সীমানা পুনর্নির্ধারণ কমিশনের নির্দেশিকা অনুসারে, ৯৮ নং স্বরূপনগর (এসসি) বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রটি স্বরূপনগর সমষ্টি উন্নয়ন ব্লক এবং রামচন্দ্রপুর উদয় এবং সায়েস্তা নগর-১ গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত গুলি বাদুরিয়া সমষ্টি উন্নয়ন ব্লক এর অন্তর্গত।[১]

স্বরূপনগর (এসসি) বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রটি ১৪ নং বনগাঁ লোকসভা কেন্দ্র (এসসি) এর অন্তর্গত। পূর্বে এই কেন্দ্রটি বসিরহাট লোকসভা কেন্দ্রের অন্তর্গত ছিল।[১]
