স্থাপত্য প্রবেশদ্বার
স্থাপত্য (লাতিন architectura, গ্রিক পরবর্তী ἀρχιτέκτων – arkhitekton – ἀρχι- "chief" এবং τέκτων "নির্মাতা, ছুতার, রাজমিস্ত্রি" থেকে) হল দালান এবং অন্যান্য বাস্তব কাঠামো নির্মাণের পরিকল্পনা, নকশা এবং নির্মাণ প্রক্রিয়া ও কাজ। স্থাপত্য দালানের মূল উপাদান হিসেবে কাজ করে, যা সাংস্কৃতিক প্রতীক এবং শিল্পকর্ম হিসেবে অনুভূত হয়। ঐতিহাসিক সভ্যতা প্রায় স্থাপত্যগত অর্জনকে প্রকাশ করে থাকে।
স্থাপত্যে নকশা এবং গঠনমূলক আকার, স্থান এবং পরিবেশগত কার্যকরী প্রতিফলন, প্রযুক্তিগত, সামাজিক ও নান্দনিক বিবেচ্য বিষয় পরিকল্পনা বিবেচনায় আনতে হয়।। এর জন্য প্রয়োজন সৃজনশীল হস্তকর্ম, উপকরণের সমন্বয়, প্রযুক্তি এবং আলো ও ছায়ার। প্রায়শই, এতে পরস্পরবিরোধী প্রয়োজনীয়তা সমাধান করা আবশ্যক। স্থাপত্য চর্চা, ভবন এবং কাঠামোর সময় নির্ধারণ, প্রাক্কলন খরচ, নির্মাণ প্রশাসন সহ প্রয়োগিক বা রাষ্ট্রীয় দিক নিরূপণ করে। স্থাপতি দ্বারা তৈরি ডকুমেন্টেশন, ভবন ও অন্যান্য জিনিসের আচরণ, কাঠামো, চিত্র, পরিকল্পনা ও প্রযুক্তিগত বিবরণকে সংজ্ঞায়িত করে। (সম্পূর্ণ নিবন্ধ...)

ভারতীয় স্থাপত্য ভারতের ইতিহাস সংস্কৃতি ও ধর্মব্যবস্থা থেকে সঞ্জাত। সময়ের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে ভারতীয় স্থাপত্য উন্নতি লাভ করেছে এবং ভারতের বহুসহস্রাব্দ-প্রাচীন ইতিহাসে বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চল ও দেশের সঙ্গে সাংস্কৃতিক আদানপ্রদানের সুবাদের একাধিক বহিঃপ্রভাবকে সাঙ্গীকৃত করেছে। যে স্থাপত্যরীতি ভারতে অনুশীলিত হয় তা দেশের প্রতিষ্ঠিত ঐতিহ্য ও বহিরাগত সাংস্কৃতিক সংযোগের পরীক্ষানিরীক্ষা ও প্রয়োগের ফসল।
