উইলিয়াম শেক্সপিয়ার (ইংরেজিতে: William Shakespeare উইলিয়াম্‌ শেইক্‌স্পিয়ার্‌) (২৬শে এপ্রিল, ১৫৬৪-তে ব্যাপ্টিজ্‌ম - ২৩শে এপ্রিল, ১৬১৬) ছিলেন প্রখ্যাত ইংরেজ কবি এবং নাট্যকার। তাকে ইংরেজি ভাষার সর্বকালের সেরা লেখক এবং পৃথিবীর অন্যতম সেরা নাট্যকার হিসেবে আখ্যায়িত করা হয়।[১] তাকে অনেক সময়ই ইংল্যান্ডের জাতীয় কবি এবং "দ্য বার্ড অফ অ্যাভন" (অথবা শুধু "দ্য বার্ড") বলা হয়।এখন পর্যন্ত তার ৩৮টি নাটক, ১৫৪টি সনেট, ২টি দীর্ঘ বর্ণনামূলক কবিতা এবং বেশ কিছূ অন্যান্য ধরণের কবিতা টিকে আছে। তার রচনাগুলো পৃথিবীর সকল প্রধান ভাষায়ই অনূদিত হয়েছে এবং তার নাটক এখনও সবচেয়ে বেশী মঞ্চস্থ হয়।[২]
