দ্য টেমপেস্ট (ইংরেজি: The Tempest — উচ্চারণ: দা টেম্‌পেস্ট) হচ্ছে ইংরেজ নাট্যকার উইলিয়াম শেকসপিয়রের রচিত একটি নাটক। ১৬১০ থেকে ১৬১১ সালের দিকে এটি রচিত হয়েছিলো বলে জানা যায়,^[১] যদিও কিছু গবেষকের মতে রচনার সালটি এরও আগে।^[২] নাটকে দেখা যায়, মিলানের ডিউক প্রসপ্যারো, তার বিশ্বাসঘাতক ভাই অ্যান্টনিওর দ্বারা সিংহাসনচ্যুত হয়। আর এ কাজে অ্যান্টনিওকে সাহায্য করে নেপল্‌সের রাজা আলোন্সো। প্রসপ্যারো তার কন্যা মিরান্ডাকে নিয়ে একছি ছোট নৌকায় করে চলে যেতে বাধ্য হয়, এবং মানবসভ্যতা থেকে দূরে এক ছোট দ্বীপে আশ্রয় নেয়। দ্বীপে প্রসপ্যারো যে দুজন অধিবাসীকে খুঁজে পায় তারা হচ্ছে একটি সৎ আত্মা এরিয়েল ও ক্যালিবান। সেই দ্বীপে আগে সাইকোরাক্স নামের এক ডাইনী বাস করতো, যে প্রসপ্যারোর দ্বীপে আসার পূর্বেই মারা যায়। সে এরিয়েলকে একটি গাছের ভেতর বন্দী করে রেখেছিলো। প্রসপ্যারো এসে এরিয়েলকে মুক্ত করে, আর এজন্য এরিয়েল প্রসপ্যারোর অনুগত ভৃত্যে পরিণত হয়। পরবর্তী ১২ বছর ধরে প্রসপ্যারো জাদুবিদ্যা অনুশীলন করে, এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত ঝড়ের মাধ্যমে অ্যান্টোনিও, আলোন্সোকে দ্বীপের উপকূলে এনে জড়ো করে। সম্পূর্ণ নাটকটিই ঐ দ্বীপকে কেন্দ্র করে পরিচালিত হয়, যেখানে এরিয়েল ও ক্যালিবান প্রসপ্যারোর কাজ বাস্তবায়নে সহায়তা করে।
