ব্রজ ভারতের উত্তর প্রদেশের মথুরা জেলার বৃন্দাবনের আশেপাশের একটি অঞ্চল যা ব্রাজ বা বৃজভূমি নামেও পরিচিত। যদিও এটি ভারতের কোনও স্পষ্টভাবে সংজ্ঞায়িত রাজনৈতিক অঞ্চল নয়, তবে সাংস্কৃতিকভাবে খুব ভালভাবে পরিচিত। অঞ্চলটি মথুরা, জলেসার, আগ্র, হাট্রাস এবং আলিগড় থেকে শুরু করে এটা, আওরাইয়া এবং ফারুকাবাদ জেলা পর্যন্ত বিস্তৃত। [১]
এটি কৃষ্ণের আবাসভূমি হিসাবে বিশ্বাস করা হয় এবং এটি সংস্কৃত শব্দ ভ্রাজ থেকে উদ্ভূত। [২][৩]
