পুষ্যবর্মণ (রাজত্বকাল ৩৫০-৩৭৪ খ্রিস্টাব্দ) কামরূপ রাজ্য শাসনকারী বর্মণ রাজবংশের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও প্রথম রাজা ছিলেন।
পরিচিতি[সম্পাদনা]
আসামের ডুবি ও নিধানপুর অঞ্চল থেকে প্রাপ্ত ভাস্করবর্মণের তাম্রলিপিগুলি থেকে জানা যায় যে, বর্মণ রাজবংশের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ছিলেন পুষ্যবর্মণ। এই লিপিতে তাঁকে নরকাসুর, ভগদত্ত ও বজ্রদত্ত নামক পৌরাণিক চরিত্রগুলিরর বংশধর বলে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে।[n ১][n ২] অরুণ ভট্টাচার্য্যের মতে, পুষ্যবর্মণ গুপ্ত সম্রাট সমুদ্রগুপ্তের সমসাময়িক ছিলেন।[২] নিধানপুর তাম্রলিপি থেকে জানা যায় যে, তাঁর পুত্রের নাম ছিল সমুদ্রবর্মণ।[১]
