The example is not portraying the right meaning. Unless further elaborated it would give the misleading feeling that just wearing protective goggles/shield etc in this case are simply the main aim of ergonomics.. but thats not the main stress of ergonomics. That example relates a direct acute ocupational hazard (which is sometimes part of ergonomics, true). but ergonomics would look at many finer details like the sitting posture, the distance at which the shield should be held etc. Also ergonomics doesnot look at nonmechanical aspects of the hazards eg the chemical electrical etc aspects of a hazard donot fall under ergonomics at all--সপ্তর্ষি^{(আলাপ | অবদান)} ০৭:১৫, ১১ আগস্ট ২০০৬ (ইউটিসি)
