লিসা গাজী (ইংরেজি: Leesa Gazi; জন্ম ১৪ই আগস্ট ১৯৬৯)[১] একজন বাংলাদেশে জন্মগ্রহণকারী ব্রিটিশ লেখক, নাট্যকার, থিয়েটার পরিচালক এবং অভিনেত্রী লন্ডনে অবস্থিত।

লিসা গাজীর পিতা বাংলাদেশের মুক্তিযুদ্ধ এর সময় যুদ্ধ করেছিলেন।[১]

কর্মজীবন[সম্পাদনা]

গাজী থিয়েটার ও আর্টস কোম্পানি কমলা কালেক্টিভের সহ-প্রতিষ্ঠাতা।[২] সাউথব্যাংক সেন্টারে তিনি ছিলেন "সিক্স সিজনস" এবং তাহমিমা আনাম এর আ গোল্ডেন এজ উপন্যাসের স্ক্রিপ্ট-লেখক এবং অভিনেত্রী। তাঁর মঞ্চনাটকের কাজের মধ্যে রয়েছে:[৩] বীরাঙ্গনা: উইমেন অব ওয়ার,[৪] সোনাতা, রকির স্বপ্ন, দৈত্যের প্রতিশোধ, চিন্তাশীল মানুষ, এবং বনবিবি। ২০১২-এ তিনি বনবিবি: জঙ্গলের নারী এর জন্য স্ক্রিপ্ট লেখেন।[৩] তিনি পিপলস রোমিও মঞ্চনাটকে অভিনয় করেছেন,[৫] যেটি "তারা আর্টের" সাথে আট সপ্তাহের একটি দেশব্যাপী সফর করে।[৩] সোনাতা মঞ্চনাটকে তিনি অভিনয় করেছিলেন, যার জন্য ২০১০ সালে ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিল কর্তৃক বাংলাদেশে আমন্ত্রন পান।[৬] তিনি "আ গোল্ডেন এজ" এর ধারাবাহিক অভিযোজনে অভিনয় করেছিলেন। তিনি She worked as the cultural coordinator and as a voice artist for আকরাম খানের দেশ মঞ্চনাটকে একজন সাংস্কৃতিক সমন্বয়কারী হিসাবে এবং একজন ভয়েস শিল্পী হিসেবে কাজ করেন।[৩]

In 2012, she worked as a script interpreter Globe to Globe Festival at the Globe Theatre on The Tempest. She acted on a play about domestic violence called Whisper Me Happy Ever After. She works for Train4change as an actor as well, and worked on a project with them on a film for the charity WaterAid. Between May and August 2014, she worked as an actor in a series of BBC Educational Films.[৩]

Gazi hosts Aei Jonopode, a weekly live-phone-in show on Bangla TV. In 2010, her first novel Rourob was published.[৩]

Gazi was awarded the Grants for the Arts by the ACE for the Birangona: Women of War theatre project by Komola Collective. She is the concept developer, co-writer and the performer of this theatre production.[৩][৭][৮][৯][১০][১১][১২][১৩][১৪]

In May 2014, Gazi was interviewed by Nadia Ali on BBC Asian Network.[১৫]

Gazi and her husband, have two children; one born 2004 (named Sreya), the other 2006 (named Rishi).
