I wonder is the comment about Lungi originating in south India is correct. Lungyi use in Myanmer mey be older. South Indians probably used dhoti in similar style, which later got replaced by lungi. Probably Sameeruddoula may comment better --user:Dr.saptarshi

I meant the comment in en wiki on the Lungi article. Probably I should comment there, not here. But I meant we shouldnot copy ife there are mistakes in the english wiki.
