রাশিফল
রাশিফল বা কোষ্ঠী হলো জ্যোতিষশাস্ত্রীয় তালিকা বা রেখাচিত্র যেটি গ্রহ, নক্ষত্র, জ্যোতিষশাস্ত্রীয় দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি ও সংবেদনশীল কোণগুলির অবস্থান।[তথ্যসূত্র প্রয়োজন] সাধারণত রাশিফল হলো সময়ের সাথে সম্পর্কিত ঘটনাগুলি সম্পর্কে ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী।[তথ্যসূত্র প্রয়োজন] হিন্দু জ্যোতিষশাস্ত্রে, ব্যক্তির কুণ্ডলি পরীক্ষা অন্তে যেকোনো শুভ আচার শুরু হয়।[তথ্যসূত্র প্রয়োজন]
যদিও অষ্টাদশ শতাব্দী থেকে জ্যোতিষশাস্ত্র সম্পর্কিত অনুশীলন অপবিজ্ঞান হিসেবে স্বীকৃত।[১] বৈজ্ঞানিক গবেষণায় রাশিফল অসমর্থিত, এবং ব্যাখ্যা করার জন্য ব্যবহৃত পদ্ধতিগুলিকে অপবিজ্ঞানের উদাহরণ হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হয়।[২][৩][৪][৫][৬]:১৩৫০ আধুনিক বিজ্ঞানে এমন কোনো মিথস্ক্রিয়া নেই যা জন্মের মুহূর্তে ব্যক্তি ও নক্ষত্রের অবস্থানের মধ্যে কথিত প্রভাবের সংক্রমণের জন্য আরোপিত হতে পারে।[৭][৮] সম্পূর্ণ পরীক্ষায়, নিয়ন্ত্রণ গোষ্ঠীকে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করার জন্য কঠোর পদ্ধতি এবং পরীক্ষার্থী ও বিষয়গুলির মধ্যে সঠিকভাবে অন্ধকরণের মাধ্যমে, রাশিফল বিশুদ্ধ সুযোগের বাইরে কোনো প্রভাব দেখায়নি।[৯][১০][১১] তদুপরি, কিছু মনস্তাত্ত্বিক পরীক্ষায় দেখা গেছে যে ব্যক্তিত্বের বর্ণনা ও ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী তৈরি করা সম্ভব যাতে একই সাথে বৃহৎ শ্রোতার অধিকাংশ সদস্যকে সন্তুষ্ট করা যায়, যাকে বার্নাম প্রভাব বলা হয়।
