বেগুনের (Solanum melongena L.) ক্ষুদে পাতা রোগ বেগুন চাষের এলাকায় একটি মারাত্মক রোগ।
সংক্ষিপ্ত বিবরণ[সম্পাদনা]
বেগুনের এর খুদে পাতা রোগ ভারতে ব্যাপক অর্থনৈতিক ক্ষতির কারণ। নামের দ্বারাই যা বোঝা যায় তা হল, এতে গাছের পাতা খুব ছোট হয়। পাতা এত ছোট হয় যে, যেন এটা কান্ডের সাথে লেগে আছে বলে মনে হয়। পাতাগুলো খুব নরম এবং অপূর্ণ হয়, দেখতে হলুদ রঙের হয়। যদি এই রোগের আক্রমণ গাছের ক্রমবিকাশের শুরুর ধাপে ঘটে আক্রান্ত গাছ কোন ফুল-ফল দেয় না। যদি শেষ দিকে এর আক্রমণ ঘটে তাহলে ফল ছোট,শক্ত এবং খাবার ও বাজারজাতকরনের অনুপযোগী হয়। এই রোগটি ঘটানোর জন্য দায়ী হল মলিকিউটস ও ফাইটোপ্লাজমা, এটি লিফ হোপার গ্রুপের Hishimonus phycitis নামক পতঙ্গ বাহকের মাধ্যমে সংক্রমিত হয়।
কীটনাশকের মাধ্যমে বাহক পোকা ধ্বংস করা হল এই রোগ ব্যবস্থাপনার মূল উপায়।
