An image or media file has been removed from your userpage, user talk page, or other page because it was licensed as non-free. Wikipedia's non-free policy states that Copyrighted images under fair use are only allowed to be used in articles about the subject of the image, and only if no free equivalent is available. For example they are not allowed to be used on user pages, in lists, or (typically) in biographies of living people. As a result, although users are often given a great amount of latitude in the type of content that is allowed on their user pages, it is requested that you abide by this policy. Feel free, however, to add images and media files licensed under other terms. For more information, see Wikipedia's non-free content policy and an accompanying essay on the removal of non-freeimages. Further use of these images will be considered vandalism, and shall be treated as such. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Usage:

{{subst:Uw-fuir}}
{{subst:Uw-fuir|Image}} references a specific image
{{subst:Uw-fuir|Image|Additional text}} adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"
  • This standardised template conforms to guidelines by the user warnings project. You may discuss the visual appearance of these standardised templates (e.g. the image in the top-left corner) at the user warning talk page.
  • Please refer to the index of message templates before using any template on user talk pages to warn a user. Applying the best template available for your purpose may help reduce confusion from the message you are sending.
  • Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Uw-fuir}} rather than {{uw-fuir}}.
  • This template uses a parser function. To give greater detail to your message, you may add the image and some additional text to the end of the template. If such image or additional text includes a URL or anything which includes an equal sign ("="), it may break the parser's function unless you prefix the image or the text with "1=".
