{{DFDb title}} is a template used to generate an external link to an entry for a work (film/movie, TV or Web program/series, video game, etc.) in the Danish Film Database. In an article it should only be used in the "External links" section.

For a person, use {{DFDb name}}.

For a company, use {{DFDb company}}.

The required parameter is the ID number. The template then uses the article title as the anchor text:

* {{ডিএফডিবি শিরোনাম|আইডি}}

To have the link text be other than the article name, use second parameter:

* {{ডিএফডিবি শিরোনাম|আইডি|নাম}}

This is necessary when adding a Danish Film Database link to an article about somebody or something other than the linked work (for example, if you include the Danish Film Database link for Dogville on a talk page, you must specify Dogville as the second parameter).

Detailed instructions

1. Copy and paste one of the options above into the article's External links section
2. Go to Danish Film Database and search for the work you want (say, Dogville; you'll reach http://www.dfi.dk/Service/English/Films-and-industry/Factsheet.aspx?ss_q=Dogville)
3. Click on the correct Dogville in the list (usually the first); this will bring up the page http://www.dfi.dk/faktaomfilm/film/en/33500.aspx?id=33500
4. Copy only the number (here, "33500")
5. Replace "ID" in the template code with the number

For the first option above, you'll then have

* {{DFDb title|33500}} resulting in:

• ডেনিশ চলচ্চিত্র ডেটাবেজে ডিএফডিবি শিরোনাম (ইংরেজি)

Note that the link text is the same as the title of the page the template is used on; outside the page Dogville, use the second option:

Replace "ID" with the number and "Name" with "Dogville"

* {{DFDb title|33500|Dogville}} results in:

• ডেনিশ চলচ্চিত্র ডেটাবেজে Dogville (ইংরেজি)
