আয়নদাঁড়ি এর প্রসারিত অবস্থায় ডানার আকার ২৮-৩৫ মিলিমিটার দৈর্ঘ্যের হয়।^[৩]

এই প্রজাতি ভারত এর পশ্চিমঘাট পর্বতমালা, ওড়িশা, বিহার, (পশ্চিমবঙ্গ^[৬], সিকিম থেকে অরুণাচল প্রদেশ ও উত্তর-পূর্ব ভারত), নেপাল, ভুটান, মায়ানমারএর বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলে দেখা যায়।^[৩]
