Kindly disable the banner for this wiki

Hi, Kindly disable this banner for Bengali wikipedia (bnwiki) per this consensus on Bengali wiki Village pump. This year's contest is organized by Bengali wiki banned users and We have consensus not to show the banner on this wiki (banner can be active for other wiki, just add "bn" to excluded list e.g. similar to this where "ca" was added to excluded list). Hi আফতাবুজ্জামান, Thank you for notifing me. In the CentralNotice system it is technically not possible to exclude one single wiki. I technically can only hide this banner for every Wikipedia or hide it for every user with Bangla as their language settings. I have now set that the banner is not shown for users who have Bangla as their language set in their preferences. I have informed the international team about this.

Remove message from my talk page

hi ROMAINE,

plz remove the message from my talk page section about - Participate in the world's largest nature photo contest! by User:MediaWiki message delivery immediately. This contest is conducted by banned user(s) from bn.wiki. and i'm not interested to send e-mail to him(!) for unsubscribed from his mailing list for personally reason or leakage my e-mail address to security reason in near future.

Hi Romaine, I came here to say the same thing. I am getting complaint from many bengali wikipedians that they got message from Bengali wiki banned user via commons. Not to mention that i myself got the same message and the message aksking for some serious privacy violations. It seems you assisted that bnwiki banned user. Why is that? since 20 days you mentions (see above) "I personally think it might be better if banned users can't organize contests." I am sorry to say that you intentionally or unintentionally giving proxy to banned user. Let me summarize:

• Two Bengali wiki banned user (one created the list and one written the message) mass messaged Bengali wikipedians (assisted by you) via commons (so that they can say they did not send it to bnwiki).
• None of us subscribed to receive such messages.
• The only way to unsubscribe is that we need to send an email from our person email address to a private list!

THAT IS NOT OK.

Please revert your mass message (go to c:User:MediaWiki message delivery's contributions and use this script to do so in 5 min). Secondly, remove all Bengali Wikipedians from that list.
