এই টেমপ্লেটের মধ্যে কোনো অক্ষর রাখলে সেই অক্ষর মূল পৃষ্ঠায় একজোড়া কৌণিক বন্ধনীর মধ্যে দেখা যাবে, এবং ঐ অক্ষরকে যে সমস্ত অপারেটিং সিস্টেম এবং ব্রাউজার এমনিতে ঠিকঠাক দেখাতে পারে না, এই টেমপ্লেটে সেগুলোতেও এদেরকে নির্ভুলভাবেই দেখাবে। আপনি এই টেমপ্লেটের পাইপ (|) চিহ্নের পর যা কিছু বসাবেন, তাকেই বন্ধনী দুটো প্যারামিটার হিসেবে ঘিরে থাকবে। যেমন:

You can also insert (nest) a text- or character-producing template as the parameter. Examples:

[সম্পাদনা]Place any HTML or Wiki markup either outside the template or after the pipe (|) symbol as part of the parameter. Examples:
<b>{{কৌব|foo}}</b>দেখাবে ⟨foo⟩{{কৌব|<u>foo</u>}}দেখাবে ⟨foo⟩{{কৌব|''foo''}}দেখাবে ⟨foo⟩
The template does not work properly with an equals sign (=) in the parameter. Start the parameter with 1= to circumvent this problem.
