গাজা-জেরিকো চুক্তি
গাজা-জেরিকো চুক্তি সরকারীভাবে পরিচিত গাজা ফালি এবং জেরিকো এলাকার চুক্তি নামে। এটি অসলো চুক্তি ১ এর ধারাবাহিকতায় স্বাক্ষরিত হয়।[১] এই সন্ধি কায়রো চুক্তি ১৯৪৪ নামেও পরিচিত। এটি ১৯৯৪ সালের ৪ মে ইয়াসির আরাফাত এবং ইসরায়েলের মন্ত্রী আইজ্যাক রবিনের মধ্যে স্বাক্ষরিত হয়।
এই চুক্তির ফলে ফিলিস্তিনীরা ৫ বছরের মধ্যে সীমিত পরিসরে হলেও পশ্চিম তীর এবং গাজা উপত্যকা পাঁচ বছরের মধ্যে স্বায়ত্তশাসন কায়েম করতে পারবে। চুক্তিমতে ইসরাইল পশ্চিম তীরের জেরিকো এলাকা এবং গাজা উপত্যকা থেকে নিজেদের নিয়ন্ত্রণ আংশিকভাবে তুলে নেবে।[২] চুক্তি অনুযায়ী ফিলিস্তিন অথোরিটি গঠিত হয়, এবং ইয়াসির আরাফাত এই অথোরিটির সভাপতি হন।[৩]
এ চুক্তির অন্যান্য বিষয়গুলো ছিল অর্থনৈতিক বিষয়াদি নিয়ে আলোচনা; যা প্যারিস প্রটোকল নামে পরিচিত। এ চুক্তিতে ফিলিস্তিনের নিজস্ব পুলিশ থাকা নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে।[৪] এই চুক্তি অসলো চুক্তি ২ এর বিকল্প হিসেবে স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে।[৫]
