মথ বাটারফ্লাই (বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম: Liphyra brassolis (Westwood)) এক প্রজাতির ধূসর বাদামী রঙের প্রজাপতি। এরা ‘লাইসিনিডি’ গোত্রের এবং ‘মিলেটিনা’ উপগোত্রের সদস্য। এই প্রজাতি ভারতের বন্যপ্রাণ সংরক্ষণ আইন (Wild Life Protection Act, 1972) অনুসারে তফ্‌সিল ১ এর তালিকার অন্তর্ভুক্ত।^[১]

বিস্তার[সম্পাদনা]

এই প্রজাতি উত্তর-পূর্ব ভারত এর সিকিম^[২] থেকে অরুণাচল প্রদেশ পর্যন্ত, ফিলিপিনস এবং ওয়েস্টার্ন অস্ট্রেলিয়া^[৩] এর বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলে দেখা যায়।
