উইকিপিডিয়ান রাগিব হাসান ব্লগে উইকিপিডিয়ার জন্য ছবি আহবান করে একটি ব্লগ লিখলে আগ্রহী বেশ কয়েকজন ব্লগার তাদের ছবি উইকিপিডিয়ানদের কাছে পাঠিয়েছেন যা উইকিমিডিয়া কমন্সে [[Category:Bangladesh]] এ আপলোড করা হয়েছে।

ছবি পাঠানোর পদ্ধতি

আপনার নিজের তোলা ছবি পাঠিয়ে দিন wikiphotos@bdosn.org এই ঠিকানায়। ইমেইলের মধ্যে I release the photos under GNU Free Documentation License এই বাক্যটি দিয়ে দিবেন, আর ছবিগুলোর সংক্ষিপ্ত এক দুই বাক্যের বর্ণনা দিয়ে দিবেন। ব্যাস। বাকিটা বাংলা উইকিপিডিয়ার কর্মীরা দেখবে।

উল্লেখ্য, ছবির বর্ণনা পাতায় ফটোগ্রাফার হিসাবে আপনার নাম/ক্রেডিট সুস্পষ্ট ভাবে উল্লেখ করা হবে।

গত ১৮ই জানুয়ারি ২০০৮ এ বাংলাদেশের জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রথম হ্যাক ফিস্ট'০৮ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। অনুষ্ঠানের সেমিনার পর্বে উইকিপিডিয়া সম্পর্কে বক্তব্য রাখেন উইকিপিডিয়ান বেলায়েত, তাকে সাহায্য করেন মাহে আলম খান। অনুষ্ঠানে জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সিএসই বিভাগের প্রধানসহ প্রায় ১২০জন ছাত্র এবং ছাত্রী।

ঢাকার মিরপুরে ছবি তোলা অভিযান[সম্পাদনা]

এবারের উইকি আড্ডাগুলোতে ছবি তোলার দিকে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেয়ায় সম্প্রতি মিরপুরে এক ছবি তোলার আয়োজন করা হয়। এতে অংশগ্রহণ করেন আল শাহরিয়ার হোসেন রাকিব ও আমি তারিফ এজাজ। বিশেষ করে কল্যাণপুর ও এর নিকটবর্তী এলাকায় ছবি তোলা হয়। উল্লেখযোগ্য ছবিগুলোর মধ্যে রয়েছে গ্রামীণ ব্যাংক ভবন ও অল্পকদিনের ভেতরেই ঢাকার যে জনপ্রিয় চলচ্চিত্র প্রেক্সাগৃহ ভেঙ্গে ফেলা হবে সেই শ্যামলী সিনেমা হল। মজার ব্যাপার হচ্ছে, ফটোগ্রাফার রাকিব এর আগে কখনো উইকিপিডিয়ায় অবদান রাখেনি, তাই তার তোলা ছবিটি উইকিমিডিয়া কমন্সে আপলোড করা হলে সে আবেগাপ্লুত হয়ে পড়ে। পরে ছবিটি উইকিপিডিয়ার একটি নিবন্ধে যুক্ত করে তাকে দেখানো হয়। ভবিষ্যতে মিরপুর ও প্বার্শবর্তী এলাকায় এরকম আরো ছবি তোলার আয়োজন করার আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করা হয়।

ভারতীয় উইকিপিডিয়া সম্প্রদায় (বাংলা) গঠিত[সম্পাদনা]

গঠিত হল ভারতীয় উইকিপিডিয়া সম্প্রদায় (বাংলা)। এর নামকরণ করা হয়েছে সারস্বত। এই সম্প্রদায়ের কাজ হবে উইকিপিডিয়া বাংলার প্রবন্ধ সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি করা, অসম্পূর্ণ প্রবন্ধগুলির মানোন্নয়ন করা ও উইকি ফাউন্ডেশন বাংলার অন্যান্য শাখাগুলিকে সমৃদ্ধ করা। আপাতত আমি আমার বাবা-মা, কয়েকজন বন্ধু ও শিক্ষককে নিয়ে এই সম্প্রদায় চালু করলাম। তবে ভারত বা ভারতের বাইরে যেকোনও স্থানের বাংলাভাষী মানুষজন এই সম্প্রদায়ে যোগ দিতে চাইলে সবাইকেই স্বাগত জানানো হবে। আগামী ৫ নভেম্বর, ১৯ কার্তিক দেশবন্ধু চিত্তরঞ্জন দাশের জন্মদিবসে আমরা আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে সারস্বত উদ্বোধন করব। সঙ্ঘের ভবিষ্যৎ কর্মপন্থা ও কর্মসূচি তার পরে নির্ধারিত হবে। --অর্ণব দত্ত ১০:৪৩, ৬ কার্তিক ১৪১৫, ২৩ অক্টোবর ২০০৮ (UTC)

একটি প্রচেষ্টা[সম্পাদনা]

আমি উইকিপিডিয়াতে বাংলাদেশের প্রতিটি ইউনিয়নের উপর লেখার চেষ্টা করছি ।চট্টগ্রাম অঞ্চলের বেশ কয়েকটি ইউনিয়ন আমি এই পর্য্যন্ত অন্তর্ভুক্ত ও করেছি ।

বাংলা উইকিপিডিয়া সম্প্রদায়ের বন্দুদের প্রতি অনুরোধ রইল বাংলাদেশের উপজেলা এর মতো বাংলাদেশের ইউনিয়ন সমূহ নামের নতূন একটি Category সৃষ্টি করা হোক ।
