গম্বুজ

গম্বুজ (ইংরেজি: Dome) স্থাপত্যের একটি বৈশিষ্ট্য যে একটি ভবনের ওপর একটি গোলকের উচ্চতর অর্ধেকের মত সাধারণত দেখে। এইটি একটি বৈশিষ্ট্য যে অনেক ধর্মীয় এবং সরকার ভবনকে বৈশিষ্ট্যপূর্ণ করে তোলে।এছাড়া যদি কোনও একজন একটি গম্বুজের নিচে অথবার ভেতরে কথা বললে , তার কন্ঠস্বর আরো জোরে শব্দ করে। উদাহরণস্বরূপ একটি গম্বুজ একটি মসজিদ, মন্দির, অথবা একটি প্রাসাদ বা একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভবন, সনাক্ত করা এইটি সহজতর করে।
