Usage: This template takes a bit of experimenting and practice to get down perfect. In addition, it can take a fair bit of (often frustrating) deep thought to enter the correct number of spans to get everything to line up. Be patient, and always feel free to use 20 or 30 edits to get it to look proper.

{{ONint|1
| 1 = is optional, and can be entered as {{ONint|value}} instead of {{tl|ONint|1=value}}. This may be one of the following, to change the colour of the row: former, closed (same colour as former), unbuilt (for future interchanges that are confirmed)
|
| division = Enter the name of a county, region or district, without the accompanying term. For example, Parry Sound District would be simply Parry Sound. It will be linked automatically.
| division_special = Used generally for when a boundary line is straddled, this takes a raw piece of wikitext. In other words, the [[ brackets ]] must be used here to link
| dspan = Number of rows the entry should span. Each use of {{ONint}} represents a row.
|
| municipality = This will take in the name of a select number of places in Ontario and link appropriately. A "municipality" in this template is a place which is independent from its surrounding division(s), or where a city is not part of a county/region/district. Therefore, this will create a two column cell. This is useful for places such as Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, Sudbury, Windsor, Barrie, etc. Use dspan to span multiple rows.
| municipality_special = Use this to enter a raw link and create a two column entry.
|
| location = This is the town, village, community, or municipality (in the actual sense of the word) that the intersection is in. It will automatically link to (value), Ontario.
| location_special = Use this when the above link is incorrect to manually enter the link. don't forget the [[ brackets ]]
| lspan = Use this to span the location entry multiple rows.
|
| km = The distance this intersection is from the southern or western terminus of the route
| km2 = Use when an intersection/interchange spans a distance. It will be presented as a span: (km) – (km2)
| uspan = Use when the distance needs to span multiple rows
| unit_ref = Use if you need to reference a particular distance within a table, particularly future interchanges
|
| exit = If the route uses exit numbers, enter them here
| old = If the exit numbers have been recently (less than 20 years) been changed, the old numbers can be entered here
| espan = To span the exit number multiple rows
|
| road = Put roads in here. You can use {{jcon}} to create consistently formatted entries
| rspan = To span the road entry multiple rows
| rcspan = Enter 2 to make the road entry span the notes column
|
| notes = Enter notes, and extra details in here. Don't forget to source them if they are contentious!
| nspan = To span the note multiple rows. The next row(s) will need notes=none entered to hide the cell.
|
| jspan = jspan will span the road and notes column together. As with nspan, the next row or rows will need notes=none entered to hide the cell.
