মেরু ভাল্লুক উত্তর মেরুর বিভিন্ন জায়গায় পাওয়া যায়। এই ভাল্লুক সাদা রঙের হয়। বিশ্ব উষ্ণায়নের কারণে এই ভাল্লুক বিপন্ন।মেরু ভালুক (Ursus maritimus) এক প্রজাতির ভালুক। এটি পৃথিবীর বৃহত্তম শ্বাপদ। একটি পুরুষ মেরু ভালুকের ওজন ৪০০-৬৮০ কেজি পর্যন্ত হতে পারে, অন্যদিকে একটি মাদী মেরু ভালুকের ওজন হয় একটি পুরুষ মেরু ভালুকের প্রায় অর্ধেক।
