ইস্টার (প্রাচীন ইংরেজি: Ēostre‎; গ্রিক: Πάσχα, Paskha; আরামীয়: פֶּסחא‎ Pasḥa; from হিব্রু ভাষায়: פֶּסַח‎ Pesaḥ)^[১] হল একটি খ্রিস্টান ধর্মীয় উৎসব এবং ছুটির দিন। নূতন নিয়মের বর্ণনা অনুযায়ী যিশুকে ক্রুশবিদ্ধ করে হত্যা করার পরে, তৃতীয় দিন তিনি ক্যালভারীতে পুনরুত্থান করে।^[২]^[৩] ইস্টার চল্লিশ দিন ব্যাপী উপবাস, প্রার্থনা এবং অনুশোচনার মাধ্যমে পালন করা হয়। চল্লিশ দিন ব্যাপী উপবাসের শেষ সপ্তাহকে পুণ্য সপ্তাহ বলা হয়। এটা ইস্টার ট্রিডুমের দিন, মন্ডি থার্সডেসহ, মন্ডি সূত্রপাত এবং শেষ ভোজ^[৪]^[৫], যা অতি পরিচিত গুড ফ্রাইডে হিসেবে এবং যিশুর ক্রুশবিদ্ধকরণ ও মৃত্যুর সূত্রপাত সমন্বয়ে গঠিত।^[৬]
