নৃগোষ্ঠী (ইংরেজি: Ethnic group) বলতে একটি নির্দিষ্ট সামাজিক জনগণের সম্প্রদায়, যারা সামাজিক, সাংস্কৃতিক, জাতীয় অভিজ্ঞতা, ইতিহাস, স্বদেশ, ভাষা (উপভাষা), মতাদর্শ, পুরাণ, তন্ত্র, রান্না, পোশাক শৈলী, শারীরিক উপস্থিতি এবং সাধারণ পূর্বপুরুষের উপর ভিত্তি করে চিহ্নিত হন।^[১]^[২] যেমন বাঙালি জাতি, অসমীয়া জাতি, জাপানি জাতি, ইংরেজ জাতি, ইত্যাদি। বাংলা রচনাবলিতে নৃগোষ্ঠীকে বর্ণগোষ্ঠী^[৩] বা জনগোষ্ঠী^[৪] নামেও নির্দেশ করা হয়েছে।

নৃগোষ্ঠী ও নরগোষ্ঠীর (Race) মধ্যে পার্থক্য আছে।
