একটি ভৌত নীতি বা বৈজ্ঞানিক নীতি বা প্রাকৃতিক নীতি হল এক ধরণের বৈজ্ঞানিক সাধারণ ধারণা যা ভৌত আচারসমূহের প্রায়োগিক পর্যবেক্ষণের মাধ্যমে মাধ্যমে গঠিত হয়। কিংবা একে একেবারে সাধারণভাবে বলতে গেলে এটি এক ধরণের গাণিতিক বা যৌক্তিক সংজ্ঞাও হতে পারে। অনেক বছর ধরে পরিচালিত সুনির্দিষ্ট বৈজ্ঞানিক গবেষণা এবং পরীক্ষণের সার বা নির্যাস হচ্ছে এই প্রায়োগিক নীতিসমূহ। এই ভৌত নীতিগুলো এ কারণে বৈজ্ঞানিক সমাজ কর্তৃক সর্বজনীনভাবে গ্রহণযোগ্য।
