ইয়োহান গটলিব ফিকটে (১৯ মে, ১৭৬২২৭ জানুয়ারি, ১৮১৪) ছিলেন একজন জার্মান দার্শনিক। তিনি ছিলেন জার্মান ভাববাদ দার্শনিক আন্দোলনের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ব্যক্তি। এই আন্দোলন বিকাশ লাভ করে ইমানুয়েল কান্টের তাত্ত্বিক ও নৈতিক লেখার মাধ্যমে।

শৈশব ও শিক্ষাজীবন[সম্পাদনা]

কিশোর বয়স থেকেই তিনি অসাধারণ বুদ্ধিমত্তার পরিচয় দেন। তার জীবনে প্রথম খ্যাতি আসে আকস্মিকভাবে। ১৭৯০ সালে ইমানুয়েল কান্টের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করবার জন্য তিনি বেনামীতে কান্টীয় দর্শনের ব্যাখ্যামূলক একটি প্রবন্ধ লেখেন। প্রবন্ধটি প্রকাশিত হলে বুদ্ধিজীবী মহল একে কান্টের নিজের রচনা বলে মনে করেন। কিন্তু কান্ট বললেন এ লেখা তার নয়। প্রবন্ধের লেখকের নাম প্রকাশিত হলে ফিকটে জার্মানির সাহিত্যিক ও দার্শনিক মহলে প্রখ্যাত হয়ে পড়েন।[২]

নীতিদর্শন[সম্পাদনা]

ফিকটের নীতিদর্শনের একটি মূল আলোচ্য বিষয় ছিলো ব্যক্তির স্বাধীনতার সমস্যা। তিনি মনে করতেন, ব্যক্তি স্বাধীন বলতে একথা বোঝায় না যে ব্যক্তি আদৌ কোনো বিধানের অধীন নয়। স্বাধীনতা বা স্বতঃস্ফূর্ততার অর্থ কারণহীনতা নয়। বিধানের অনিবার্যতার উপলব্ধিতেই ব্যক্তির স্বাধীনতা নিহিত। ইতিহাসের কোনো বিশেষ যুগে ব্যক্তির স্বাধীনতা ব্যক্তির ইচ্ছা-অনিচ্ছার উপর নির্ভর করে না, নির্ভর করে যুগের বাস্তব অবস্থার উপর। ফিকটের মধ্যে জার্মান পুঁজিবাদের বিকাশের বৈপরীত্যগুলোর প্রকাশ দেখা যায়। বুদ্ধির মুক্তি এবং বাস্তব জীবনের স্বীকৃতির ক্ষেত্রে তিনি অগ্রসর চিন্তাবিদ। কিন্তু বিশ্বজগতের ব্যাখ্যায় তিনি ভাববাদের সীমানার মধ্যেই আবদ্ধ।[২]
