স্বধর্মত্যাগ (/əˈpɒstəsi/; গ্রিক: ἀποστασία) হলো কোনো ব্যক্তির দ্বারা কোনো ধর্ম থেকে আনুষ্ঠানিক বিচ্ছিন্ন হওয়া, পরিত্যাগ করা বা ত্যাগ করা। এটিকে একজনের পূর্ববর্তী ধর্মীয় বিশ্বাসের বিপরীতে মতামত গ্রহণ করার বিস্তৃত প্রেক্ষাপটের মধ্যেও সংজ্ঞায়িত করা যেতে পারে।[৩] ধর্মত্যাগকারীকে ধর্মত্যাগী বলা হয়। সমাজবিজ্ঞানীরা ধর্মত্যাগ শব্দটি ব্যবহার করেন  একজন ব্যক্তির প্রাক্তন ধর্মের ত্যাগ ও সমালোচনা বা বিরোধিতা বোঝাতে, অবমাননাকর অর্থ ছাড়াই প্রযুক্তিগত অর্থে।
