শৌণ্ডিকালয়



পাব বা শৌণ্ডিকালয় (জনসাধারণের ঘরকে সংক্ষিপ্ত করে) বেশ কয়েকটি দেশে একটি পানীয় প্রতিষ্ঠান যা প্রাঙ্গণে পান করার জন্য অ্যালকোহলযুক্ত পানীয় পরিবেশনের জন্য লাইসেন্সপ্রাপ্ত। এই শব্দটি সর্বপ্রথম ইংল্যান্ডে ১৭ শতকের শেষের দিকে আবির্ভূত হয়েছিল, ব্যক্তিগত বাড়িকে জনসাধারণের জন্য উন্মুক্ত অ্যালহাউস, সরাইখানা এবং পান্থশালা থেকে আলাদা করার জন্য। আজ, এর কোন কঠোর সংজ্ঞা নেই, তবে ক্যাম্পেইন ফর রিয়েল অ্যালে (সিএএমআরএ) বলে যে একটি পাব চারটি বৈশিষ্ট্যের অধিকারী:
