ছবি যুক্ত করতে সমস্যা

শাকিল ভাই। আমি উইকিপিডিয়া ব্যাবহারের ক্ষেত্রে একটি সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হচ্ছি। সেটি হচ্ছে যেকোনো পাতায় ছবি সংযুক্ত করা। যেমন: সনি স্পোর্টস নেটওয়ার্ক নিবন্ধটির তথ্যছকে যখন এটির লোগো'র সঠিক লিংক এড্রেস (Sony Sports Network.png) প্রদান করার পরও সেখানে সেই ছবিটি প্রদর্শন করছে না। সে স্থলে চিত্র:Sony Sports Network.png লেখাটি প্রদর্শিত হচ্ছে। আমি বারবার চেষ্টা করেছি কিন্তু ফলাফল ঠিক একই। আমি এমন সমস্যার সম্মুখীন এর আগেও হয়েছি তবে কোনো সমাধান পাই নি। এ সমস্যা হওয়ার কারণ ও এর সমাধান জানানোর জন্য আমি আপনার নিকট বিনিত নিবেদন করছি। Tanvir 360 (আলাপ) ১৫:২৯, ১১ নভেম্বর ২০২২ (ইউটিসি)

@Tanvir 360 ছবি না দেখানোর কারণ হলো এই চিত্রগুলো উইকিমিডিয়া কমন্সে নয়, বরং ইংরেজি উইকিপিডিয়ায় স্থানীয়ভাবে আপলোড করা। এই সমস্যা সমাধানের উপায় হলো আপনাকে ওই চিত্রটি ডাউনলোড করে বাংলা নাম দিয়ে বিশেষ:আপলোড ব্যবহার করে আপলোড করতে হবে এবং পরবর্তীতে এই চিত্র নিবন্ধে যোগ করতে হবে। আপনি চাইলে এই সরঞ্জামটিও ব্যবহার করতে পারেন। এই প্রক্রিয়ায় কোন সমস্যায় পড়লে জানাতে ভুলবেন না —শাকিল (আলাপ · অবদান) ১৬:০৪, ১১ নভেম্বর ২০২২ (ইউটিসি)

You may already know that the third iteration of WikiConference India is happening in March 2023. We have recently opened scholarship applications and session submissions for the program. As it is a huge conference, we will definitely need help with organizing. As you have been significantly involved in contributing to Wikimedia projects related to Indic languages, we wanted to reach out to you and see if you are interested in helping us. We have different teams that might interest you, such as communications, scholarships, programs, event management etc.

গ্রোথ দলের উদ্দেশ্য হচ্ছে নবাগতদেরকে তাদের প্রথম সম্পাদনা করতে সহায়তা করা এবং উৎসাহিত করা। নবাগতদের সম্পাদনা কতটা অবদান রাখছে তা জানানোর মাধ্যমে আমরা নবাগতদের প্রেরণা বাড়াতে চাই।

নবাগতরা একটি অবদানের মডিউল দেখতে পাবেন; আপনি বিশেষ:প্রভাব-এ গিয়ে আপনারটা দেখতে পারবেন। এই উন্নত অবদানের মডিউল নবাগতদের তাদের প্রভাব সম্পর্কে আরো তথ্য দেবে। এই এটা সম্পাদনার সংখ্যা, প্রাপ্ত ধন্যবাদ সংখ্যা, তাদের করা শেষ সম্পাদনার তারিখ, বিরতিহীন সম্পাদনা করার দিন, এবং সম্পাদিত নিবন্ধ পরিদর্শন সংখ্যা।

কাঠামোবদ্ধ কাজ চালুর পর থেকে আমরা বিভিন্ন সম্প্রদায়ের মতামত পেয়েছি। তারা জানিয়েছে কীভাবে সাম্প্রতিক পরিবর্তনে পরীক্ষা করা প্রয়োজন এমন সম্পাদনার সংখ্যাবৃদ্ধিতে নিরীক্ষকগণের কাজের চাপ বেড়েছে এবং কিছু সম্পাদনার মান বা প্রাসঙ্গিকতাও ভালো হচ্ছে না।

আমরা গৃহীত মতামতের ভিত্তিতে কিছু পরিবর্তন এনেছি। যা যা ঠিক করা হয়েছে:

  • নিরীক্ষকদের ক্লান্তি
    • স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে নবাগতদের প্রতিদিন মোট ২৫টি "একটি লিঙ্ক যুক্ত করুন" এবং ২৫টি "একটি ছবি যুক্ত করুন" কাজ করতে পারেন। যদি নিরীক্ষকগণ ক্লান্ত হয়ে যান, তবে সম্প্রদায় বিশেষ:গ্রোথ_কনফিগারেশন_সম্পাদনা-তে গিয়ে এই সীমা কমিয়ে দিতে পারেন।
  • সম্পাদনার মান: "মানসম্মত সম্পাদনা" কোনো সঠিকভাবে সংজ্ঞায়িত বিষয় না। আমরা একটি আলোচনা চালু করেছি এবং আমাদের প্রাপ্ত দিকগুলোর সারসংক্ষেপ তুলে ধরেছি। আমরা নিম্নোক্ত বিষয় নিয়ে কাজ করেছি:
    • একটি লিঙ্ক যুক্ত করুন

    • একটি ছবি যুক্ত করুন
      • তালিকা নিবন্ধগুলো আর "একটি ছবি যুক্ত করুন" পরামর্শ পাবে না।
      • দ্ব্যর্থতানিরসনকারী পাতাগুলোও আর "একটি ছবি যুক্ত করুন" পরামর্শ পাবে না।
      • আমরা ২০২৩-এর শুরুর দিকে "একটি লিঙ্ক যুক্ত করুন" বৈশিষ্ট্যটিকে আরো উন্নত করে তুলব। [১১]

  • সকল উইকিপিডিয়ায় এখন একই প্রারম্ভিক অভিজ্ঞতা বিদ্যমান। আগে কিছু উইকির নতুন অ্যাকাউন্টের ২০% গ্রোথ বৈশিষ্ট্য পেত না। এই ২০% নতুন অ্যাকাউন্ট নিয়ন্ত্রণ দল হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হতো যেন নবাগতদের আচরণ গ্রোথ বৈশিষ্ট্য আসলেই পরিবর্তন করতে পারছে কীনা তা জানা যায়। পরীক্ষা করে দেখা গেছে যে গ্রোথ বৈশিষ্ট্য সক্রিয়তা এবং ফিরে আসার হার বাড়ায় এবং আমরা এই প্রারম্ভিক অভিজ্ঞতা সকল উইকিপিডিয়ায় দিতে চেয়েছি। আমরা তাই নিয়ন্ত্রণ দল সরিয়ে নিয়েছি। নতুন বৈশিষ্ট্য চালুর ক্ষেত্রে আবারও নিয়ন্ত্রণ দলের প্রয়োজন পড়বে। জার্মান উইকিপিডিয়া তাদের অনুরোধের প্রেক্ষিতে একটি নিয়ন্ত্রণ দল রাখছে। [১২]
  • "একটি লিঙ্ক যুক্ত করুন" পরামর্শের মানের নম্বর তথা কোয়ালিটি স্কোর পরিবর্তিত হচ্ছে। আমরা প্রতি নিবন্ধের জন্য কম লিঙ্কের পরামর্শ দেব, তবে পরামর্শগুলো আরো সঠিক হবে। আমরা প্রথমে পাইলট উইকিতে চালু করব, এবং ধীরে ধীরে এই বৈশিষ্ট্য আছে এমন বাকি সব উইকিতেও চালু করব। [১৩][১৪]

মেন্টরদের জন্য সংবাদ

  • সকল উইকিপিডিয়া বর্তমানে মেন্টরশিপ প্রোগ্রাম চালু ও নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারেব আরো সহজভাবে।
    • আমরা প্রক্রিয়া পরিবর্তন করে আরো নির্ভরযোগ্য, মানোন্নয়ন উপযোগী, এবং সহজে ব্যবহারযোগ্য করে তুলেছি।
    • যেসকল উইকিপিডিয়াতে এখনো মেন্টরশিপ চালু হয়নি, তারা নতুন প্রক্রিয়া অনুসরণ করে মেন্টরশিপ চালু করতে পারবেন। চালুর পরে মেন্টরগণ Special:MentorDashboard-এ গিয়ে নিজের নাম যুক্ত করতে পারবেন।
    • যেসকল উইকিপিডিয়াতে আগেই মেন্টরের তালিকা ছিল, তারা নতুন পদ্ধতিতে পরিবর্তিত হয়ে গেছে।
    • একটি নতুন বিশেষ পাতা — Special:ManageMentors — বর্তমানে সকল মেন্টরের তালিকা প্রদর্শন করছে। এই পাতাটিকে অন্য পাতায় অন্তর্ভুক্ত করিয়ে নেয়া সম্ভব। মেন্টর হিসেবে যুক্ত হোন বা মেন্টরশিপ ত্যাগ করুন-এর জন্যও নতুন পদ্ধতি চালু আছে। আমরা সম্প্রদায়ের মেন্টরশিপ ব্যবস্থাপনা উন্নত করেছি।

The Wikimedia Foundation Campaigns Team invites you to join our upcoming office hours. In each session, we will introduce V1 of Event Registration Tool, so you can begin using it for real events on Meta-wiki.

In V1, the following new features will be includedː

  • Support for the organizer to specify an event timezone
  • Automatic confirmation emails after participants have registered
  • Private registration: the option for participants to register and only display their registered username to organizers of the event and we will teach you how you can use it yourself.

WikiConference India 2023: Open Community Call and Extension of program and scholarship submissions deadline

Dear Wikimedian,

Thank you for supporting Wiki Conference India 2023. We are humbled by the number of applications we have received and hope to learn more about the work that you all have been doing to take the movement forward. In order to offer flexibility, we have recently extended our deadline for the Program and Scholarships submission- you can find all the details on our Meta Page.

COT is working hard to ensure we bring together a conference that is truly meaningful and impactful for our movement and one that brings us all together. With an intent to be inclusive and transparent in our process, we are committed to organizing community sessions at regular intervals for sharing updates and to offer an opportunity to the community for engagement and review. Following the same, we are hosting the first Open Community Call on the 3rd of December, 2022. We wish to use this space to discuss the progress and answer any questions, concerns or clarifications, about the conference and the Program/Scholarships.

  • The Wikisources use a tool called ProofreadPage. ProofreadPage uses OpenSeadragon which is an open source tool. The OpenSeadragon JavaScript API has been significantly re-written to support dynamically loading images. The functionality provided by the older version of the API should still work but it is no longer supported. User scripts and gadgets should migrate over to the newer version of the API. The functionality provided by the newer version of the API is documented on MediaWiki. [১৭][১৮]

Here's your quick overview of what has been happening around Wikidata over the last week.

    • REST API:
    • Vektor 2022: Finished work on making Vector’s new Search work with Wikidata. The changes roll out for testing on test.wikidata.org next week (phab:T275251)
    • Query Service:
      • Getting a link to the query is now possible in the same place as getting a link to the result of the query (phab:T324218)
      • Removed the gif that showed on hover over the button that advertises the Query Builder to make it less annoying (phab:T296135)
      • Added wikibase:identifiers to the autocomplete feature (phab:T302057)
      • Adjusted the layout of the Query Builder header to be more in line with other application (phab:T288939)
    • Constraint violations: When a language name is mentioned in the constraint it will now show the name of the language in the interface language instead of the language itself to make it easier to understand (phab:T316936)
