খরচ অর্থ ব্যয়। প্রচলিত ব্যবহারে খরচ বলতে অর্থের ব্যয় বুঝানো হয়। উদাহরণ "আমার গতমাসে মোট ২৭৮৯০ টাকা খরচ হয়েছে।" কিংবা "এত খরচ করে উপহার কেনার কী দরকার ছিল?"

আন্তর্জাতিক হিসাবরক্ষণ প্রমিতকরণ বোর্ডের সংজ্ঞানুসারে খরচ বা expense হচ্ছে -
