ইংরেজ গৃহযুদ্ধ ১৬৪২ থেকে ১৬৫১ সালের মধ্যে সংগঠিত কয়েকটি ধারাবাহিক যু্দ্ধের নাম। এই যুদ্ধগুলো সংগঠিত হয়েছিল ইংরেজ রাজতন্ত্রবাদী আর সংসদীয় শাসনবাদীদের মধ্যে। ইংল্যান্ডের সরকার ব্যবস্থায় রাজতান্ত্রিকতা অব্যাহত থাকবে না সংসদীয় শাসনব্যবস্থায় রূপ নেবে এই ছিল এই সামরিক বিরোধের মূল কারণ। প্রথম যুদ্ধ (১৬৪২-৪৬)এবং দ্বিতীয় যুদ্ধ (১৬৪৮-৪৯) সংগঠিত হয় রাজা প্রথম চার্লস এবং লং পর্লামেন্ট এর মধ্যে। তৃতীয় যুদ্ধ (১৬৪৯-৫১) সংগঠিত হয় রাজা দ্বিতীয় চার্লস এবং রাম্প পার্লামেন্ট এর মধ্যে। ৩ সেপ্টেম্বর ১৬৫১ সালে ওরচেস্টারের যুদ্ধের মধ্য দিয়ে এই যুদ্ধের অবসান ঘটে। যুদ্ধে রাজতন্ত্রবাদীরা পরাজিত হয়।
এই যুদ্ধের ফলাফল ছিল তিনটি। রাজা প্রথম চার্লস এর মৃত্যুদন্ড। তার পুত্র দ্বিতীয় চার্লস এর নির্বাসন। এবং ব্রিটিশ রাজতন্ত্রের পরিবর্তন। এই যুদ্ধের ফলে সাংবিধানিক ভাবে এই ঘোষণা আসল যে, ব্রিটিশ রাজ পার্লামেন্টের মতামত ছাড়া রাজ্য শাসন করতে পারবেন না।
