বিদেশী ভারতীয় (IAST: Pravāsī Bhāratīya), আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে সম্মিলিতভাবে অনাবাসী ভারতীয় (NRIs) এবং ভারতের প্রবাসী নাগরিক (OCIs), where Non-Resident Indians are Indian citizens who are not residents of India and Overseas Citizen of India are people of Indian birth or ancestry who live outside and also are not the citizens of Republic of India. বিদেশ মন্ত্রকের একটি রিপোর্ট অনুসারে, 32 মিলিয়ন এনআরআই এবং ওসিআই ভারতের বাইরে বসবাস করছেন এবং বিদেশী ভারতীয়রা বিশ্বের বৃহত্তম বিদেশী প্রবাসীদের অন্যতম।[৯] প্রতি বছর ২.৫ মিলিয়ন (২৫ লাখ) ভারতীয় বিদেশে পাড়ি জমায়, যা বিশ্বের সর্বোচ্চ বার্ষিক অভিবাসী সংখ্যা।
