সক্ষম হন এবং পীরজাদাসহ কাসিম রাজা সিদ্দিকী ( উর্দু: پیرزادہ قاسم رضا صدیقی‎‎ ) (জন্ম: ৮ ই ফেব্রুয়ারি ১৯৪৩) একজন প্রখ্যাত পাকিস্তানি পণ্ডিত, কবি, বিজ্ঞানী এবং শিক্ষাবিদ । তিনি নাজির হুসেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের চ্যান্সেলর হিসাবে দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন।

প্রাথমিক ও কর্মজীবন

পীরজাদার জন্ম ১৯৪৮ সালের ৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি ভারতের দিল্লির একটি উর্দু-ভাষী পরিবারে। ১৯৪৭ সালে ভারত বিভাগের পরে তিনি পাকিস্তানে পড়াশোনা চালিয়ে যান এবং করাচির ডিজে বিজ্ঞান কলেজ থেকে কলেজের ডিগ্রি এবং করাচি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে বিএসসি (এইচ) পেয়েছিলেন। তিনি ইংল্যান্ডের নিউক্যাসল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পিএইচডি ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেছেন।

পীরজাদা কাসিম করাচি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রভাষক হিসাবে কর্মজীবন শুরু করেছিলেন এবং অধ্যাপক হন। তিনি ১৯৬০ সাল থেকে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শরীরবৃত্ত বিভাগের সাথে যুক্ত ছিলেন। তিনি ফেডারেল উর্দু বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, করাচি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এবং জিয়াউদ্দিন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে উপাচার্য হিসাবেও দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন। তিনি নাজির হুসেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের চ্যান্সেলর হিসাবেও দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন। তিনি উর্দু কবিতা সহ ইংরেজি এবং উর্দুতে বেশ কয়েকটি বই লিখেছেন।
