কর্তব্যজ্ঞানীয় নীতিশাস্ত্র
কর্তব্যজ্ঞানীয় নীতিশাস্ত্র বা কর্তব্যজ্ঞান হলো নৈতিক দর্শনে আদর্শিক নৈতিক তত্ত্ব যে কর্মের নৈতিকতা সেই কর্মের ফলাফলের উপর ভিত্তি না করে নিয়ম এবং নীতির ক্রমের অধীনে ক্রিয়াটি সঠিক বা ভুল কিনা তার উপর ভিত্তি করে হওয়া উচিত।[১] এটিকে কর্তব্য-বাধ্যবাধকতা বা নিয়ম-ভিত্তিক নৈতিকতা হিসেবেও বিবেচনা করা হয়।[২][৩] কর্তব্যজ্ঞান সাধারণত ফলাফলবাদ,[৪] উপযোগবাদ,[৫] সদ্গুণ নীতিশাস্ত্র[৬] ও বাস্তববাদী নীতিশাস্ত্রের বিপরীতে।[৭] এই পরিভাষায়, পরিণতির চেয়ে কর্মই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
চার্লি ডানবার ব্রড ১৯৩০ সালে তাঁর গ্রন্থে পাঁচ ধরণের নৈতিক তত্ত্বের বিশেষায়িত সংজ্ঞা বর্ণনা করার জন্য ডিওন্টোলজিকাল বা কর্তব্যজ্ঞানীয় শব্দটি প্রথমে ব্যবহার করেছিলেন।[৮] এই শব্দটির পুরানো ব্যবহার জেরেমি বেন্থামের কাছে ফিরে যায়, যিনি ১৮১৬ এর আগে ডিকাস্টিক বা সেন্সরিয়াল নীতিশাস্ত্রের (যেমন, বিচারের ভিত্তিতে নীতিশাস্ত্র) এর প্রতিশব্দ হিসাবে এটি তৈরি করেছিলেন।[৯][১০] শব্দের আরও সাধারণ বোধটি ফরাসি ভাষায়, বিশেষত পেশাদার নীতিশাস্ত্রের প্রসঙ্গে কোড ডি ডোন্টোলজি (নৈতিক সংহিতা) শব্দে ধরে রাখা হয়।
বিবেচনাধীন কর্তব্যজ্ঞানীয় নীতিশাস্ত্রের পদ্ধতির উপর নির্ভর করে নৈতিক বাধ্যতা বাহ্যিক বা অভ্যন্তরীণ উৎস থেকে উদ্ভূত হতে পারে, যেমন মহাবিশ্বের অন্তর্নিহিত নিয়মের সেট (নৈতিক প্রাকৃতিকবাদ), ধর্মীয় আইন, বা ব্যক্তিগত বা সাংস্কৃতিক মূল্যবোধের সেট (যার মধ্যে যে কোনও ব্যক্তিগত আকাঙ্ক্ষার সাথে বিরোধে থাকতে পারে)।
