Hi! I'm NikosLikomitros (Nikos Likomitros), a user from Greece. For any inquiries, please message me at my talk page in Greek, where I am sysop since 15 March 2023. In Bangla, I do some occasional edits there, focusing on correcting wrong spellings for European topics and tagging test pages for deletion, but also reverting vandalisms as well.
The user observes the Bengali Wikipedia's growth in a daily basis in order to follow the growth of an emerging Wikipedia and to get new ideas for his native Wikipedia, as Bengali is a good example of a Wikipedia that becomes more independent from the extensive influence of English. It is really unfair how Bengali, one of the world's seven largest languages (250 to 300 million speakers), has only 127,000 articles, but Nynorsk, just a written form of Norwegian language (and used as main spelling standard by around 650,000 Norwegians, but is taught nationally), has more than 160,000 articles. Additionally I can understand fluently the Bengali script.
