বি গ্রুপের রক্তের উপস্থিতি উত্তর এশিয়া ও মধ্য এশিয়ার আশেপাশের অঞ্চলে বেশি। পশ্চিম ও পূর্ব দিকে এই গ্রুপের রক্তের সহজলভ্যতা ধীরে ধীরে কমে আসে এবং স্পেনে এর পরিমাণ এক অঙ্কের ঘরে এসে পৌঁছেছে।[৭৩][৭৪] ধারণা করা হয়, ইউরোপীয়দের আগমনের পূর্বে আমেরিকা ও অস্ট্রেলিয়ায় বি গ্রুপের রক্ত আমেরিকার আদিবাসী ও অস্ট্রেলিয়ার আদিবাসীদের মধ্যে সম্পূর্ণরূপে অনুপস্থিত ছিল।[৭৪][৭৫]

ইউরোপে এ গ্রুপের রক্তের লভ্যতা বেশি, বিশেষ করে স্ক্যান্ডিনেভিয়া ও মধ্য ইউরোপ অঞ্চলে; যদিও অস্ট্রেলিয়ার কিছু আদিবাসী জনগোষ্ঠী ও মন্টানার ব্ল্যাকফুট ইন্ডিয়ানদের মধ্যে এটি সবচেয়ে বেশি সহজলভ্য।[৭৬][৭৭]
