সিকা হল প্রাচীন থ্রেস এবং ডাচীয় একটি ছোট অসি বা বড় ছোরা, যা প্রাচীন রোমেও ব্যবহৃত হত। একে একটি বাঁকা তলোয়ারের ফলক হিসাবে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে, (জেলিতেন মোজাইকে যে বহুসংখ্যক তেলের বাতিসমূহ রয়েছে তা দেখুন) যার ফলকের দৈর্ঘ্য ১৬-১৮ ইঞ্চি (৪০-৪৫ সে.মি.) এবং রোমানিয়া, বসনিয়া, বুলগেরিয়া এবং সার্বিয়া, ট্রজেনের স্তম্ভে বহু উদাহরণ পাওয়া গিয়েছে। শ্রেণীকরণবিদ্যার দিক থেকে, যদিও মান নির্ধারণের প্রতি একটি প্রবল প্রবণতা রয়েছে।

সিকারি[সম্পাদনা]

রোমান্সে এই অস্ত্র অপরাধী দ্বারা ব্যবহৃত হত।^[১] সিকারি ^[২] হচ্ছে ইহুদি বিদ্রোহীরা যারা প্রাচীন জেরুসালেমে রোমানদের সময় নিরপেক্ষদের বিরুদ্ধে সন্ত্রাসবাদ অনুশীলন করতো।

ইলিরিয়া[সম্পাদনা]

ইলিরিয়ান্সদের এলোমেলো লড়াইয়ের প্রধান অস্ত্র ছিল সিকা।^[৩] ঐতিহাসিক জন উইল্কস অনুসারে:^[৪]
