হাঙ্গরের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে হিংস্র প্রজাতির হাঙ্গর হচ্ছে হোয়াইট শার্ক বা সাদা হাঙর । শিকারি মাছের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বড় এই সাদা হাঙ্গর ।
বছরে পৃথিবীর মোট হাঙর আক্রমণের এক তৃতীয়াংশের জন্য এ সাদা হাঙ্গর দায়ী। সাদা হাঙ্গরের একটি বড় গুণ হচ্ছে তার ঘ্রাণশক্তি । সামান্য রক্তের গন্ধও এটি প্রায় ৫ কি. মি. দূর থেকে পায়।

এটি প্রায় ১৫ থেকে ২৫ ফিটের বেশি লম্বা হয় এবং ওজন প্রায় ৭০০ কে.জি পর্যন্ত হয় । এটির মুখে প্রায় ৩,০০০ করাতের মত ত্রিকোণ দাঁত রয়েছে। এটি ঘন্টায় প্রায় ২৫ কি.মি গতিতে ছুটতে পারে ।[৩]

সিল, সী লায়ন, অক্টোপাস, স্কুইড, ছোট হোয়েল ইত্যাদি সাদা হাঙ্গরের প্রিয় খাদ্য ।
