১৬ অক্টোবর, ৬৯০–৩ মার্চ, ৭০৫ পর্যন্ত ট্যাং রাজবংশ বহুবার দ্বিতীয় ঝু রাজবংশের দ্বারা আক্রমণের স্বীকার হয়। সে সময় উ জেতিয়ন সিংহাসন দখল করেন।

ট্যাং রাজবংশ (চীনা ভাষায়: 唐朝; উচ্চারণ: ট্যাং চাও; মধ্য চীনা: ঢ্যাং) (১৮ জুন, ৬১৮–৪ জুন, ৯০৭) হচ্ছে চীনের ইতিহাসের অন্যতম শক্তিশালী ও সমৃদ্ধ একটি রাজবংশ। পূর্ববর্তী সুই রাজবংশের পর এর গোড়াপত্তন ও পরবর্তীতে পঞ্চ রাজবংশ ও দশ সাম্রাজ্য সময়কালে এটি শেষ হয়। লি (李) পরিবার এই রাজবংশের গোড়াপত্তন করে। সুই পরিবারের ক্রমাগত শক্তিহ্রাস ও পতনের পর এই বংশ চীনের ক্ষমতা অধিকার করে। এই রাজবংশ তার সময়কালে দ্বিতীয় ঝু রাজবংশের (১৬ অক্টোবর, ৬৯০-৩ মার্চ, ৭০৫) দ্বারা বহুবার আক্রমণকৃত হয়েছিলো। তখন রানী উ জেতিয়ান ক্ষমতাবলে সিংহাসন দখল করেন। তিনি ছিলে এখন পর্যন্ত চীনের ইতিহাসে একমাত্র রানী যিনি নিজ অধিকার বলে সাম্রাজ্য শাসন করতেন।

ট্যাং রাজবংশের রাজধানী চ্যাংঅ্যান (বর্তমানের জিয়ান) ছিলো তৎকালীন পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে জনবহুল শহর। এ সময়টিকে চৈনিক সভ্যতার একটি উচ্চতম শিখর হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হয়। এই রাজবংশের আগে হান রাজবংশের শাসনামলকে ধরা হয় চৈনিক সভ্যতার বৈশ্বিক সংস্কৃতির স্বর্ণযুগ।
