টেফ্রোসিয়া (লাতিন: 'Tephrosia') হচ্ছে Fabaceae পরিবারের একটি গণের নাম। গণের নামটি এসেছে গ্রিক ভাষার শব্দ τεφρος (টেফ্রোস) থেকে যার অর্থ "ছাই-রঙা," যা মূলত এদের ধূসর পাতার ট্রাইকোমগুলোকে নির্দেশ করে।^[৩]
