জেট ইঞ্জিন এক ধরনের প্রতিক্রিয়া ইঞ্জিন যা দ্রুতগতির জেট ফ্লুইড (গ্যাস) নিস্ক্রমনের মাধ্যমে বহির্গমন (এগজষ্ট) থ্রাস্ট তেরি করে এবং একটি নিউটনের ৩য় সূত্র অনুয়ায়ি কাজ করে। জেট ইঞ্জিন বিভিন্ন ধরনের হতে পারে - টারবোজেট, টারবোফযান, রকেট, রযাম জেট, স্রযাম জেট, পালস জেট এবং পাম্প জেট।
