Marathi wikipedia on my 800x600 desktop looks very untidy and unattractive. But the Bengali/Telugu wikipedia looks fine. Can Bengali wikipedia admins share the CSS/technical data which will fortify Marathi wikipedia for 800x600 res. desktops? mr:Maharashtra express

I dont know much about technicald details. If u can see Bengali/Telugu wikipedia and Marathi wictionary on 800x600 resolution, they look decent but Marathi wikipedia looks untidy. Plz try it and suggest our admin what is wrong with our technical data. some screenshots. I want output on 800x600 as decent as Bangla wikipedia or Marathi wictionary. Thanks. (Maharashtra.express)

request for help at Marathi wikipedia related to bengali word Bargi

Hi, I came across an bengal related english article Bargi in Marathi Wikipedia . It seems have reference to some invasions by Marathi rulers in Bengal in 18th century.I request Bengali wikipedians following help:-

• How would you write the word "Bargi" in Marathi/hindi Devanagari script is बार्गी ok?

• Please help in veryfying if these historical details given in article Bargi are correct along with proper references and proper dates or years wherever possible

Hi, I do have some historical accounts of the Maratha (or Borgee) invasion of Bengal circa 1742-1751 in my Bengali history books, but I would suggest you first transfer the English content to the talk page of that article and write a short stub on it in Marathi for the time being. There's no point in editing the English "article", because it's written in a language that doesn't belong in Marathi wiki. In fact, you could rename the article to something like Marathi invasion of Bengal (1742-1751) instead of Bargi.
