উইকিপিডিয়া:ভাল নিবন্ধের গুণাবলী
ভাল নিবন্ধ হলো একটি স্বয়ংসম্পূর্ণ এবং সুলিখিত নিবন্ধ। এতে নিবন্ধের বিষয়বস্তুর সকল প্রধান আঙ্গিকের ওপর আলোকপাত থাকে। অর্থাৎ তথ্য, উপাত্ত, উদাহরণ, স্কেচ বা ছবি ইত্যাদি দিয়ে সমৃদ্ধ একটি নিবন্ধ। এটি যে দীর্ঘ হতে হবে তা নয়, কিন্তু পাঠক যেন একটি সামগ্রিক ধারণা লাভে সক্ষম হন সে বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করতে হবে। অর্থাৎ সংক্ষিপ্ত পরিসরেও একটি ভাল নিবন্ধ রচনা করা সম্ভব। তুলনার হিসাবে নির্বাচিত নিবন্ধের অবস্থান কয়েক ধাপ ওপরে। উইকিপিডিয়ার সকল নির্বাচিত নিবন্ধই উইকিপিডিয়া:ভাল নিবন্ধ বটে, কিন্তু তাই বলে সব সকল "ভাল নিবন্ধই" "নির্বাচিত নিবন্ধের" সমকক্ষ নয়। পক্ষান্তরে, এ সব নিবন্ধের মান সাধারণের তুলনায় ভাল কিন্তু নির্বাচিত নিবন্ধ হওয়ার জন্য মনোনীত নির্বাচিত নিবন্ধের মত নয়। ভাল নিবন্ধ বলা যাবে তখনই যা সাধারণভাবে ভাল বলে মনে হয়, কিন্তু নির্বাচিত নিবন্ধ বা সেরা নিবন্ধ হওয়ার কোনো কোনো গুণাবলীর অভাব রয়েছে।

ভাল নিবন্ধের গুণাবলীর তালিকা —
- সুলিখিত হতে হবে:
- (a) নিবন্ধের গদ্যরূপ পরিস্কার ও সংক্ষিপ্ত ও ভাষা মার্জিত, বাক্য শুদ্ধ এবং বানান সঠিক হতে হবে এবং লেখা কপিরাইট আইনকে শ্রদ্ধা করবে।; and
- (b) it complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch,, and list incorporation.[১]
- তথ্যগতভাবে যথাযত এবং যাচাইযোগ্য:
- (a) it provides references to all sources of information in the section(s) dedicated to the attribution of these sources according to the guide to layout;
- (b) it provides in-line citations from reliable sources for direct quotations, statistics, published opinion, counter-intuitive or controversial statements that are challenged or likely to be challenged, and contentious material relating to living persons—science-based articles should follow thescientific citation guidelines;[২] and
- (c) it contains no original research.
- Broad in its coverage:
- (a) it addresses the main aspects of the topic;[৩] and
- (b) it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style).
- Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without bias, giving due weight to each.
- Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.[৪]
- Illustrated, if possible, by images:[৫]
- (a) images are tagged with their copyright status, andvalid fair use rationales are provided for non-free content; and
- (b) images are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions.[৬]
১) সুলিখিত হতে হবে:
- ক) মানে নিবন্ধের ভাষা মার্জিত, বাক্য শুদ্ধ এবং বানান সঠিক হতে হবে।
- খ) নিবন্ধটি উইকিপিডিয়ার প্রচলিত লিখনরীতির সাথে সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ হতে হবে; যথাযথ ভূমিকাসহ নিবন্ধটি অনুচ্ছেদ আকারে লিখিত হতে হবে।
২) হালনাগাদ, সঠিক এবং যাচাইযোগ্য হতে হবে:
- ক) সকল তথ্য সঠিক হতে হবে; তথ্য যাচাই করার জন্য পর্যাপ্ত তথ্যসূত্র থাকতে হবে।
- খ) সকল তথ্য হালনাগাদ হবে। পুরাতন তথ্য বা উপাত্ত থাকবে না। (ইতিহাসের তথ্যেও সাম্প্রতিক গবেষণা প্রাধান্য পাবে)
- গ) অবদানকারীর নিজস্ব মৌলিক গবেষণাজাত তথ্য থাকতে পারবে না।
৩) নিবন্ধের গভীরতা বা ব্যপ্তি থাকতে হবে:
- ক) নিবন্ধের মূল বিষয়গুলো সম্পর্কে অবশ্যই তথ্য ও উপাত্ত থাকতে হবে।
- খ) আবশ্যিক সকল তথ্য ও উপাত্ত থাকতে হবে।
- গ) অথযা বিস্তারিত লেখা বর্জন করতে হবে।
৪) নিরপেক্ষ অর্থ হল, নিবন্ধে অবশ্যই সকল পক্ষের মতামত প্রকাশ পেতে হবে।
৫) স্থিতিশীল হতে হবে, মানে নিবন্ধে সম্পাদনা যুদ্ধ চলতে পারবে না, প্রতিদিনই পরিবর্তন হচ্ছে এমন হতে পারবে না।
৬) ছবি - নিবন্ধের যথাযথ স্থানে বর্ণনাসহ ছবি বা স্কেচ থাকা বাঞ্ছনীয়। ছবি অবশ্যই উপযুক্ত লাইসেন্সযুক্ত হতে হবে এবং ছবির বর্ণনা এবং উপযুক্ত লাইসেন্স ট্যাগ যুক্ত থাকতে হবে।

উপর্যুক্ত শর্তসমূহ পূরণ করেনা এমন নিবন্ধই ভালো নিবন্ধ হবার যোগ্যতা হারাবে। বিশেষভাবে:
- নিবন্ধ পক্ষপাতদুষ্ট হলে তাকে ভালো নিবন্ধ বলা চলবে না।
- নিবন্ধে ভুল তথ্য থাকে, কিংবা অযাচাইযোগ্য তথ্য থাকে।
